Well, do you follow your firm’s website?

Every firm (or Chambers) wants to increase traffic to their website.  After all more traffic means more profile, more reach and – by extension - more enquiries. My next question might be more contentious.  When was the last time you asked yourself whether you’re doing what you need to do in order to generate more traffic?  Or, more to the point is what goes on to your website holding your interest?  Is it enough to persuade you to actively follow your website?

Do your solicitors, accountants, patent or trade mark attorneys or barristers get nervous when you deliver a talk? Good!

Presenting isn’t everyone’s cup of tea (it’s certainly not mine). Our clients often tell me they get nervous beforehand (I tell them they’ve found a sympathetic audience in me, I definitely do) and this can impact on their performance or even for some, on their sleep the night before. In many cases even the thought of the inevitable bout of nerves puts people off from ever volunteering to speak but it shouldn’t.
