What can lawyers and accountants learn about their reception experience from the Co-Op?

I don’t know how many times I’ve been in our local Co-Op over the last years but I’d guess it’s over 1000. I’d also say that during that during that time and across those visits the turnover of staff has been, discounting seasonal students, pretty minimal. All of this makes it even more irritating that every time I go in I’m asked if I have a members’ card … by the same person … sometimes on the same day.

Marketing lessons lawyers and accountants can learn from Kermode and Mayo’s Wittertainment

It’s probably an equal mixture of a long-standing interest in film and the pleasure of hearing two other middle aged men bicker about nothing (Tenandahalf-style) that makes the Kermode and Mayo film show on Radio 5 such a staple of our aural week. For the initiated the purpose of the show is to review films but in the same way as they repeatedly tell the listener Jaws is not about sharks, this show is not about film reviews.
