“I’m putting a man on the moon”

09 Jul 2019

I was at a conference last week and whilst catching up with one of our pals I was told a good story.  Now I’ll say now that I have no idea whether this is true but because it’ll exemplify a key part of the Tenandahalf ethos with a little nip and tuck we’re going to assume it is!

Networking for beginners

26 Jun 2019

Perhaps business networking conjures up images of dull middle aged men making unwanted small talk or strangers foisting business cards into your hands? If it does its no wonder that you don’t exactly

6 tips that should boost the attendance at your next seminar/workshop

15 May 2019

Yesterday I had my bi-monthly BD 1on1 with one of my stars in the making and we got to talking about their upcoming panel discussion event. “I can’t believe it … it’s pretty much sold out … twice!”  he told me. “This has never happened before!”  And I could understand his surprise.  We’ve seen a steady downturn in seminar/workshop attendances over the last few years and, at the same time, an increasing amount of effort being required to even reach an acceptable number of guests so this client’s revelations made me think what it was they had done differently.

4 tips to help you maximise your blog’s readership

29 Mar 2019

While the much (over) used maxim ‘content is king’ in undoubtedly true, you can never forget just how much stuff there is being published online and promoted via social media every single day. And still all too many lawyers, accountants, barristers and IP attorneys are still missing the point. They produce hugely involved 12-1500 articles no one reads then decry the fact content marketing doesn’t work so they’re not going to do any more. In our experience (both in terms of our own business and helping clients grow theirs) it definitely does but only if you bear the following 4 rules in mind ...
